Richard Tan has notably gained a strong foothold in a short span of 15 years. He currently focuses in the area of residences, heritage buildings and shophouses. Propelled by his motto, care & concern, he finds satisfaction in being the platform for people to find hidden gems in the property market, be it for sound investment or their dream home.
His passion and determination also extends to being a personal coach to more than 60 real estate salespersons to date. He is a trainer of his team, Richard Tan Division in Powerful Negotiator Group commercial training course focusing on how to enter the shophouse market is highly welcome as the shophouse market is very niche and trainers with such vast knowledge of this niche industry are few and far between.
MEET RICHARD
The dedicated realtor has a wealth of experience that spans more than 15 years in the Singapore real estate industry. Whilst assisting clients in various property transactions, Richard developed a unique ability to discover hidden gems for clients, either for their dream home or a sound investment.
As Richard’s career in the real estate industry grew from strength to strength, he established a niche in the heritage buildings and shophouses segment. With this niche, his clients have expanded to include high networth individuals, family offices and asset management firms. Richard is the first point of contact for a number of his clients, where they consult him on potential investment opportunities in Singapore’s dynamic real estate market.
Besides his solid experience and knowledge of the current market, he utilises his analytical skills in determining whether a property is suitable for a particular clients profile. Many of his clients are good friends of his, where they play golf on a regular basis in Singapore and overseas. Through these informal sessions, Richard continues to provide advice for his clients, as he has always maintained his clients’ interest as his priority.

With Richard's emphasis on sharing and training, there are a variety of options for his team members, Richard Tan Division to attend. These sessions are created for team members to acquire knowledge, share their experiences and ask questions.
Weekly Coffee Sessions rotates among team members weekly, where each and everyone shares their challenges, experiences and the latest developments over coffee with Richard. The size of the group is kept cozy to facilitate effective communication and changes every week.

Monthly Sessions entail a 3 hour session, where there are 1 or 2 teammates, including Richard that will speak on latest real estate developments, trends and regulations. In addition, team members share their experiences and participate in discussions. These sessions are either help in the PropNex office or at external locations.
Targeted sessions are conducted by Richard and the team to members looking to learn and strengthen their knowledge on specific property types like Landed or Shophouse or New Launches. These sessions enable teammates to widen their knowledge and services for clients.

Richard encourages the team to consult him on a 1-on-1 basis to go through their challenges, concerns and strategies. Richard will listen and dispense customised advice for each and every team member.

The invited speakers sessions involve other PropNexians sharing their insights with the team. As the company focuses on a sharing and transparent culture, leaders and realtors are ever willing to share with other colleagues on the latest in the real estate industry.
