Giving Back to the Community Through Knowledge and Charity

In line with his open and transparent sharing nature, Richard decided to share his knowledge and passion of shophouses in the form of a comprehensive book, co-authored by Tyson Yuk. The book is aptly titled, “The Untold Truth of Investing in Commercial Properties”.

 

The book covers 3 main segments, which cover an introduction to commercial property, generating income from commercial properties and understanding macro-economic factors to determine the best property investment in Singapore.

 

Through the publishing of this top selling book, the community will benefit from the knowledge and strategies for commercial property investment in Singapore. In addition, the revenue collected from the book will be matched by the PropNex management and the significant sum will be donated to a charity.

The dedicated realtor has a wealth of experience that spans close to 20 years in the Singapore real estate industry. Whilst assisting clients in various property transactions, Richard developed a unique ability to discover hidden gems for clients, either for their dream home or a sound investment.

Besides managing the team and his personal performance, Richard is a trainer for PNG (Powerful Negotiators Group) on commercial property and PNG’s famed bootcamp. Many have complimented him on his caring persona and unreserved sharing. The vast amount of awards, accolades and testimonials bear testament to his caring and committed personality and performance.

Richard has achieved ALMOST $2 BILLION in transacted sales volume over the years.

Richard has consistently been among the top performers in PropNex and PNG (Powerful Negotiators Group).

 

Among his latest accomplishments is achieving more than $1 million in commissions for 2023, Top Commercial Transactor, Super Platinum Award, Top 50 Champion Producers and Top 10 Group District Director.. Another milestone was when he was featured in the PropNex Icons magazine, which recognises his contribution to the industry and PropNex.

Signature Training

The Big Swing signature training is a highly effective training progamme that is strategically catered to real estate salespersons in the Commercial property space, whether new or experienced. The programme consists of 4 important components, which are in-depth Commercial property training, effective negotiation and soft skills development, proven prospecting methods and one on one mentorship with Richard Tan.

Over the years, Richard personally developed this training to be comprehensive and relevant, not only in theory, but more importantly, for practical application. One significant pain point that Richard discovered is that many real estate salespersons struggled to swing from theory to real application of their knowledge and skills. Another significant pain point realtors faced was how to differentiate their services to clients as compared to the thousands of realtors in the industry.
